"I founded Granfeldt Studios to create things that last. Timeless design backed by generations of craftsmanship."

Our story begins in 1881, when Anna Charlotta Granfeldt chose love over privilege, relinquishing her noble title to marry Axel Gustavson. A bold decision that ignited a legacy built on character and craftsmanship.

In 1937, their son Anders carried that spirit forward, founding a small craft business making workwear of exceptional quality and later also military garments for the Swedish army as well as some of the country’s most iconic denim, Gul & Blå. First under the name GEFA and later Blåkläder.

Anders was known for his elegance and integrity, a man who wore a suit no matter the occasion - even while fishing. His quiet dedication to quality, style, and purpose still shapes the Granfeldt ethos today.

In 2020, Gothenburg became home to Granfeldt Studios, founded by Filip Granfeldt, great-great-grandchild of Anna Charlotta. Our work now extends beyond clothing to thoughtfully crafted design objects, pieces that merge heritage, technology, and art.

We believe true craftsmanship transcends medium. Whether physical or digital, each creation embodies our belief in fewer, better things: designed with intention, produced in small runs, and built to endure. We work in close collaboration with trusted artisans and suppliers, using only the finest materials. This is our vision of digital craftsmanship: refined, enduring, and quietly bold.
